Green Chilli Shatta is our favourite hot sauce. Despite tough competition from gochujang, sambal and Tabasco, Shatta sets itself apart with its punchy, acidic and all importantly, spicy character. Use anywhere you would hot sauce – swirl into yoghurt, spread on a sandwich or add to a sauce for an added punch.
Once opened, refrigerate and consume within 2 weeks.
Ingredients: green chilli (29%), extra virgin olive oil, green jalapeños paste (17%) (jalapeño pepper, salt, acetic acid), grilled green peppers, white wine vinegar, green jalapeño flakes, salt, lemon juice concentrate.
