Ritual
Slowly pour water into the hollow of the top plate until it reaches the edge of the inner circle. Place the plate into the holder.
Add 5-8 drops of your favourite essential oil. Light the tealight candle that is placed into the base of the holder. As the candle burns it will heat up the brass plate underneath, diffusing the soothing scent of oil into your space.
Care
When using, please ensure you place this oil burner on a flat, stable surface that can resist heat. Make sure it’s not near any flammable objects. Only use a standard-sized, unscented tea-light candle.
Don’t leave unattended while in use and closely monitor the water level in the brass plate holder.

CARBON STEEL CARE
Carbon steel makes a harder and stronger cutting blade than stainless steel, it is also easier to sharpen. In return for its performance carbon steel will need a little bit of love and care, as it will tend to oxidise if not well maintained. It is also natural for carbon steel to develop a patina over time.
To avoid rusting, it is recommended that carbon steel blades are kept oiled.
Do not soak it in water and never place it in the dishwasher.
To clean the knife, wipe the blade with a damp cloth and dry immediately.
To reduce the frequency of re-sharpening, wooden chopping boards are recommended.
If your carbon steel blade is beginning to rust, use a scouring pad and and acid, such as vinegar and gently rub it on the affected area. After the rust has been removed, dry the blade, re-sharpen and oil to prevent future rusting.
